Amprobe TMD-56 Multi-Logging Digital Thermometer, 0.05% Basic Accuracy Feature

  • Portable, dual-input thermometer for reading temperatures from two sources simultaneously, and USB data transfer, and is used in quality control and HVAC, electrical, industrial, and automotive maintenance
  • Accepts K-, J-, T-, E-, R-, S-, and N-type thermocouples
  • Dual-scale temperature readings range from -328 to 2,498 degrees F (-200 to 1,370 degrees C)
  • Dual-input thermocouples for superheat and subcool applications, and cut-out and cut-in temperature measurements, and offset mode compensates for thermocouple error
  • USB port exports data, and built-in memory saves up to 16 sets of data with 16,000 data points, and datalogging saves up to 256 samples with real-time data

The Amprobe TMD-55W dual-input thermometer with built-in memory and datalogging, and USB port accepts two K-, J-, T-, E-, R-, S-, or N-type thermocouples, and is designed to measure two temperatures simultaneously in a variety HVAC, electrical, industrial, and automotive maintenance applications. The thermocouples support superheat and subcool applications, and cut-out and cut-in temperature measurements. The meter has an offset mode that can be used to compensate for thermocouple error. Dual-scale temperature readings range from -328 to 2,498 degrees F (-200 to 1,370 degrees C).

The USB port exports data, and built-in memory saves up to 16 sets of data with 16,000 data points, and datalogging capabilities save up to 256 samples with real-time data for later viewing. The meter has a back-lit LCD screen with data hold to save readings for later viewing, and displays minimum and maximum temperature with elapsed time, and average and relative temperature calculations. The device operates on four-1.5V batteries (included), which provide approximately 120 hours of use. The auto-power-off feature turns the meter off after approximately 15 minutes, and can be disabled. A low battery indicator helps prevent false readings. The meter includes two K-type thermocouples, a carrying case, one 9V battery, and instructions.
